Chicago, IL - February 9, 2006 - Albert Cozzi, former CEO of Cozzi Iron & Metal and Metal Management, and Frank Cozzi, national Chair-elect of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), have joined with four other members of the Cozzi family to launch Cozzi Consulting Group, a new sales and management consulting firm specializing in the marketing of scrap metal, paper and plastic. Building on the Cozzi family's reputation as one of the most successful and trusted names in the scrap business, Cozzi Consulting Group offers a full line of services designed to help manufacturers, demolition contractors, scrap companies and other generators of scrap products maximize the value and revenue generated from their recyclables stream.

As a primary service, Cozzi Consulting Group will serve as a sales consultant for scrap producers and help them market their scrap products while leveraging market-tested practices and international connections to guarantee the best price returns. Cozzi Consulting Group will also provide the capability to conduct custom analysis of environmental compliance, production, storage, transportation and financial processes for scrap producers and sellers.

The launch of Cozzi Consulting Group comes at a time when more and more scrap producers are realizing that they may not be getting the best price for their scrap materials.

"The average manufacturer only uses about 80 percent of the material it buys to produce its primary products. Greg Cozzi, Anthony Cozzi, Dorese Goldsmith and Terri Freeman are among the other Cozzi family members to join the firm. Having built the largest scrap processor in the Midwest (Cozzi Iron & Metal), running a national and publicly traded scrap company (Metal Management), and maintaining a prominent leadership role in the industry; the Cozzi family brings more than 100 years of combined experience and connections in the scrap and recycling industry that will now be available to help scrap producers significantly increase their revenue streams.
